Commissioner praises TOUCH, CHODE for great work

BEACON FALLS, Conn. — The Bobcats4Ever Fantasy Football League is proud to announce the launch of its new website, which will help the league further establish itself as a cutting-edge innovator in the world of fantasy football.
The new website — which can be accessed at b4effl.kylebrennan.net — was developed by the Bobcats4Ever Technological Operations Unit Council Headquarters (TOUCH), which was launched in secret earlier this month by Commissioner Kyle Brennan.
“I can’t say enough about the tremendous work put forth by Bobcats4Ever TOUCH,” Brennan said. “We put in some long hours to develop this website, as none of the members of this group have any formal training in website design. To me, that’s exactly what this league is all about — a bunch of guys who have shown themselves the ropes and consistently come out on top.”
The website will serve as the worldwide hub for the Bobcats4Ever Fantasy Football League, which has taken leaps into the future over the last four months. Innovative changes began last November, when several league owners began to issue press releases for team news. This continued into January, when 10 of 11 owners met in Hamden, Conn., to ratify the league’s Constitution. All of those recent events, which were successful because of the passion of the league’s ownership, have led to the website’s launch.
“I don’t think any owner in this league thought we’d be where we are less than two calendar years in,” Brennan said. “This is, with perhaps a few exceptions, as incredible a group of people as I know. I think during the 2014 season most owners realized that we had something special on our hands and we had to run with the momentum.”
The website will aggregate all press releases by the 12 clubs and the League Office, as well as media stories by the league’s valued partners. Recently, the New York Post affirmed its commitment to covering the Bobcats4Ever Fantasy Football League in a move reported by JimRomenesko.com.
“We were thrilled to hear that the New York Post decided to hire a full-time beat reporter (Caleb Gindl) to cover our league,” Brennan said. “I’ve spoken in the past with Caleb — although not since his hiring, as he’s on a month-long sabbatical in Myanmar (Burma) — and he knows that I will promote an atmosphere of openness and cooperation with the press. We both need each other to succeed.”
In addition to the latest news, the website will also include pages for each team. These pages will not only aggregate the latest news about each team and point toward the team’s page on Yahoo! Fantasy Football, but they will also include biographies of each owner so fans of the league can get to know the men for which they root. The Commissioner does have one request for league owners to help make this section of the website a robust one.
“TOUCH has already uploaded photos of each owner, but we need each other to put a personal touch on his page by writing a brief biography,” said Brennan, who noted that club logos for about half the league’s teams have been made but still must be created with consultation of others. “We could have had TOUCH do this, but we wanted the words on those pages to reach fans directly from the owners’ fingers. Basically, we want every owner’s page to look something like that of the Small-Town Americans’ Kyle Brennan, our defending champion.”
The website also hosts information for the 2015 Bobcats4Ever Draft, keeper players and the Constitution. It will also soon include a league record book, which is currently being compiled by the Bobcats4Ever Chroniclers of History, Other Details, Etc. (CHODE).
“I know the league’s two champions, Kyle and Jamie Palatini, are especially looking forward to CHODE’s findings,” the Commissioner said. “It’s important to create a record of our league’s history before we get too far down the road and lose important details to history.”
Brennan praised the working relationship between TOUCH and CHODE in keeping the league at the forefront of fantasy football.
“This hasn’t been a circle jerk, but it’s been a great time mutually for this to come,” Brennan said. “It’s days like these when you just feel that pure, orgasmic jubilation that make all the work worth it.”
In a moment of chest-puffing, Brennan kicked up his legs and issued a proclamation to the rest of the fantasy football universe.
“We may not be the oldest league, but we’re the best damned league going,” Brennan said. “You don’t have what we have. You can’t have what we have. You won’t have what we have. We are better than you.”
