After a pitiful showing in the 2015 season, the general manager of Thanks Obama! has seemingly gone into hibernation.

A 3-10 showing made fans, players and front office executives burrow their heads in their hands, their GM has not been heard from in months.

Team owner Andrew Vazzano is thinking about chucking his GM aside — if he can ever find him.

“He’s gone … He’s just gone,” Vazzano told TMZ after we ambushed him outside his home in Verona, N.J.

Vazzano stepped back and handed the reigns of the franchise to Gus after a slow start to the season. All decisions were carried out by the land-beaver in the second half of the season.

Still, Vazzano was unhappy with the rodent.

“It all just felt the same,” Vazzano said. “Like the same thing was happening over and over every week. Loss after loss, like we were stuck on the same day every Sunday.”

The exasperated team owner thinks he knows where his GM is holed up, but has been unable to ferret him out.

“This whistle-pig can’t see the wood for the trees,” Vazzano said.

If Gus can’t provide answers, the furry ground squirrel might be out of a job.

“I’ve hired a headhunting team to examine external candidates,” the wealthy and handsome team owner said. “There are two local cats that could fill his position. There’s a squirrel that hangs out in the backyard that could do this. He could even be blind, and still find a nut once in a while.

“He’s not out of the woods yet. Myself, the players and fans demand answers from him,” Vazzano said.
