NEW YORK — FOOD NETWORK FOOTBALL, Inc.©’s franchise in the Bobcats4Ever Fantasy Football League will be known as “You’ve Been Chopped,” Chairman and CEO Andrew Fletcher announced Monday. Fletcher will continue to serve as the franchise’s owner and general manager in addition to his corporate duties.

“‘You’ve Been Chopped’ is not only our new name, it’s also our rallying cry,” Fletcher said. “We are very excited to continue our tradition of naming our franchise after the fine programming Food Network offers.”

Indeed, this is the third different name the franchise has had in as many years. The Club went by “Chopped Champions” in 2013 and was subsequently renamed “Cutthroat Kitchen” for the following season. Per usual, Fletcher received express written consent from Scripps Networks Interactive for use of its trademarks. Kenneth W. Lowe, Scripps’ chairman, CEO and president, also serves on FOOD NETWORK FOOTBALL, Inc.©’s Board of Directors.

Fletcher guided “Cutthroat Kitchen” to a respectable fifth-place finish in 2014, ultimately bowing out in the quarterfinals to HOW BOUT DAT?!

“You’ve Been Chopped”’s new avatar features “Chopped” host Ted Allen, who also sits on the company’s board alongside Lowe; Alton Brown, host of “Cutthroat Kitchen”; Scott Conant, “Chopped” judge and restaurateur; and Mark Cuban, the outspoken owner of the Dallas Mavericks. Fletcher also took the opportunity to announce Amanda Freitag, also a “Chopped” judge and restaurateur, was named to the Board for the 2015 season.

“We are very excited to have someone of Amanda’s expertise on our side,” Fletcher said. “With Scott, Amanda and Ted working behind the scenes for ‘You’ve Been Chopped,’ we can’t wait to put the competition on the Chopping Block™.”

Cuban, who purchased a 5% stake in the franchise in February on ABC’s “Shark Tank,” will spearhead the company’s social media marketing efforts. The Club will Tweet with the hashtag #StayHungry from its Twitter account, @FNF_Inc, this season.

FOOD NETWORK FOOTBALL, Inc.©, incorporated in Delaware with offices in New York and New Jersey, was consolidated in January 2015. “You’ve Been Chopped” is a charter franchise in the Bobcats4Ever Fantasy Football League.
